She has always been one of my heroes.

Possibly the block was used to point the way for the slaves on their journey.
One of my ancestors had a station on the railroad, he helped slaves cross the river.
Wouldnt it be fantastic if they had known each other and worked together? Most of the stories are still secret even now, I will have to wait for heaven to hear them.
The original drawing was made from life, I traced it onto the fabric.
