I found these antique true indigo dye blocks at Houston Quilt show, they were from the 1880s or so. I put them together in a little quilt to celebrate my Hale heritage. I have traced the family back before the Revolutionary war, we are cousins to Nathan Hale. I have the wonderful pioneer history record of John Hale who lived in the 19th century.
It answers many questions about family and helped me connect with many generations of our history going way back.
