on blessings

      on blessings

blessed on earth are we, children of a higher throne
blessed in our houses
blessed in our work
blessed in what we do
for in his wisdom
He has guided us
into his peace
and to His will
and though we sweat
and hurt upon this earth
we draw His strength
learn how to endure
and rejoice through our pain
and come once again
to know His touch
in dark or light
we find Him there
thus we learn our faith
thus we find our joy
in Him
and in one another.
