Who are the fur gang? I share my life with Fairy Beauty Bon Paris and Grandma the Dali Mama. They are both shar pei dogs. Also we have Summerkitty, an orange and white cat. We have had other dogs and cats but they have left the planet. love sara
I have just finished "magical planet", one of my best quilts. it is going to japan as part of east bay heritage quilter's project, participating in quilts for japan ( also on facebook). we will be making quilts and quilting kits until the shelters are empty. now here I go finishing my little wall quilts, wild horses running and petroglyphs in wyoming. the petroglyphs quilt is made as a team quilt with my mom fran hale. I will post pics as soon as I figure it out. also I am binding a nice big bed quilt, red and white ninepatches,for my birthday present to me 2 yr ago and finishing in time for this yr birthday. also on the schedule today, studying like a bandit for the required neonatal resuscitation exams.I cant go back to work until I do that, and funds were tight already, ouch. oh well. back to the sewing room. love sara and the fur gang
finally, the 1890s style ninepatch is done. it just glows, very happy with all that. I had to study for my neonatal resuscitation exams/certification at work, I just wanted to sew. amazingly, two! former patients said hi to me on my local avenue while walking. one was the sister of a mom of a micropremie, the baby just had a birthday. that helped me remember what its all about. I knew God was telling me my work is good and valuable. I really needed that, since I havent been working in labor/delivery for 9 months, since I broke my leg and conked my noggin hard.I am about to go back to being a "real" nurse. perfect parking lot timing was arranged by our wonderful God.I love thinking of God as our kind wisest of all Grandmother. I will post pics of the quilts soon . be patient with me, this is my first blog. I am not a very techno girl, have to work on my inner nerd. love sara and the fur gang
