here are a couple mosaics I made tho I am not very good at getting the tops flat. I have been saving all my broken stangl. stangl is pottery made in flemington nj. lovely, handpainted, sgraffito, we used to go there and buy the seconds. now I have a full cabinet of stangl bought off the internet, and 2 little plates from my childhood. sometimes you come across a piece at a yard sale. there is a lot on ebay, I have been able to get 1st rate ones. I remember feeling so bad discarding damaged plates at my father's apartment. I think he was washing the dishes with tide, if he washed them at all. I have certainly fulfilled my promise to myself that I could let go of those and someday have more. I hope to make a coffee table from the fragments,its planned out in my mind. life is short. wear the diamonds, eat off the stangl, use the good towels and the good soap. love sara and the fur gang
